Candidate’s platform
Mental Health: Kenya prioritizes making help easier to find by opening local clinics and putting support programs right in schools. By launching awareness campaigns, she’s also working to eliminate stigmas so no one feels judged for reaching out.
Health Care: Kenya’s goal is to make staying healthy more affordable by lowering drug costs and expanding Medicaid. She’s pushing for community clinics that focus on check-ups and early help, plus expanding telehealth so even rural neighbors can see a doctor easily.
Public Safety: Kenya is focused on building real trust between police and neighborhoods through community policing and crisis training. She also believes in playing the long game—investing in youth programs and mentorship to keep kids on the right track and neighborhoods safe.
Economic Development
Small Businesses: Kenya wants to give local owners a leg up with better training and by cutting through the red tape of government contracts.
Jobs For All: When new businesses move in, she’s making sure locals are first in line for the jobs so the community actually feels the benefits of that growth.
Education: Kenya sees public schools as the heart of the community. She’s fighting for everything from universal preschool to better support for special education, all while making sure teachers have the tools and modern facilities they need to help students succeed.
